Raymond M. Pocino


Raymond M. Pocino has served as co-chair of the Construction Craft Laborers Training and Apprenticeship Fund of NJ and DE for the past 20 years. Mr. Pocino has been a member of the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA) for more than 50 years and presently serves as LIUNA Vice President and Eastern Regional Manager where he directs and oversees activities that affect the working lives of some 40,000 laborers in the New Jersey, Delaware, Puerto Rico, New York City and Long Island. He is also President Emeritus of Construction & General Laborers Local 172 in Trenton, NJ. In addition to his union duties, Mr. Pocino serves as a commissioner of the New Jersey Turnpike Authority, one term as chairman, as well as commissioner of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.   Mr. Pocino also serves as Vice President of the NJ State AFL-CIO, Vice Chair of Choose New Jersey, and serves as a trustee of both the NJ Alliance for Action and New Jersey SEED.
